First post ever!

I decided to finally do it and start a blog.  I'm a bit intimidated, and hope I am able to figure this out I recently made a portfolio website as well and am hoping to figure out how to link them.  If someone is reading this and can help, please let me know.

Had a great day at school today, had a critique for a new piece that seemed to go super well.  Inspired by Joey I decided to do a polychromatic screen print of a landscape, I silk screened over top of this, added acrylic paint for highlights and then sewed in lots of fun detail work, and made a pillow case for a body pillow.  Unfortunately I did not take any photos of the piece before I handed it in so Pictures to come!

It was the first critique of the class and was exciting to see the type of work everyone was doing, there are some familiar faces in my class, but not many have I been in a studio class with before.  It was good, seems like a nice bunch which is a pleasant change from one of my other classes this semester where my personality seems to clash with others at times.
